Introducing Coronium MCP: AI-Powered Proxy Management

April 10, 2025Sarah Chen

Today, we're excited to announce the launch of Coronium MCP, a TypeScript implementation of the Model Context Protocol that enables AI models like Claude to manage proxies through natural language commands.

Coronium MCP is designed to bridge the gap between AI models and proxy infrastructure, allowing AI agents to perform complex tasks like managing proxies, purchasing modems, and handling subscriptions through simple natural language commands.

What is the Model Context Protocol?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a standardized way for AI models to interact with external tools and services. It defines a structured format for tool calls and responses, allowing AI models to discover and use external tools through a standardized interface.

With MCP, AI models can extend their capabilities beyond text generation, enabling them to perform actions in the real world through integrations with external services.

Key Features of Coronium MCP

  • STDIO Transport: Seamless integration with Claude Desktop via STDIO transport
  • HTTP API: RESTful API for integration with any application or service
  • Resource Access: Structured access to proxies, countries, and tariff plans
  • TypeScript Implementation: Fully typed implementation with robust error handling

Coronium MCP provides a comprehensive set of tools for managing proxies and modems, including:

  • get-proxies: List all your proxies with detailed status information
  • buy-modem: Purchase a new modem with cryptocurrency in your chosen region
  • renew-subscription: Renew existing proxy subscriptions with your preferred tariff plan
  • delete-payment: Cancel pending payments that haven't been processed yet
  • get-countries: Retrieve available countries, regions, and carriers for new modems
  • get-tariffs: View available tariff plans with pricing and data allowances
  • set-rotation-interval: Configure automatic IP rotation intervals for your proxies

We're excited to see how developers and AI teams will use Coronium MCP to build powerful applications and workflows. Whether you're building web scrapers, price monitors, account creators, or other automation tools, Coronium MCP provides the infrastructure you need to succeed.
